Since making this tutorial, I've discovered that if you put the YouTube link in a Google Slide, it prompts parents to request your permission before they can view the video. So I've stopped putting my videos in Google Slides. Instead I've just been posting them to my YouTube channel. I don't like to leave students on YouTube (for internet safety reasons) but so many parents can't access it otherwise. It seems posting to YouTube has been a way that all parents- no matter what device they're using- can view the videos. So just use this tutorial to see how to post to YouTube and forget about the Google Slides part at the end! :)
