  4. Do the "add Bonus Letters" activity. If the word ends with an "l, f, s" and is not a good word, be sure to double the last letter of l, f, or s to make it a good word.
    1. Examples: mes +s = mess; shel +l = shell.

**The letters l, f, and s are called "bonus letters" in our Fundations program.  Remind your child to think about the magnetic letter tiles.**

  1. Do the "popsicles or ice cream" First state which you like the best.  Then write at least two sentences supporting your reason.  Lastly you can write a feeling sentence.  Don't forget to make these sentences good sentences or complete thoughts.  Also don't forget the capital letter and the correct punctuation marks.
  2. Do the "Let's Make a Sentence!" Do this activity like you have done in the past.
  3. "Basic addition" This is not timed.  Remember to use any strategy that you like, but remember that more of these facts should start to become easy for you.
  4. "Problem Solving Practice" Underline the key points, write the equations, draw the picture, and solve the problem.
