Montana is one of the states.  It is a wild and beautiful place.  It is also very big!  Montana is home to many animals.  There are big animals.  There are small animals.  Not many people live there.  More people live in other states, such as California and New York.

The people who live in Montana work very hard.  Some of them are cowboys.  Some of them are farmers.  Some of them work at desks.  In Montana some people have found very, very old bones of animals.  They find them under the ground.  People go to Montana to find and study the bones.

Montana is very cold in the winter.  It snows a lot there.  People who live there must dress warm when it gets cold outside.  In the summer, Montana is warm.  Many people go there to watch the birds.  Some visit to go fishing.  Montana is a beautiful place to see.
